With ingredients like celery, beets and oats, this isn’t exactly your typical green smoothie. But those ingredients blend wonderfully here with strawberries and coconut water for a treat that is rich in nutrients.

Serves 2.


½ cup beet root, chopped
¼ avocado, peeled and pitted
1 stalk celery
10 strawberries, fresh or frozen
¼ cup dry old fashioned oats
8 ounces (236 ml) coconut water


Thoroughly wash the applicable fruits and vegetables. Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
