You can substitute papaya or mango for the kiwi. The bee pollen and maca powder are loaded with nutrients. However, if you’ve never tried bee pollen, eat three or four different-colored grains to test for an allergic reaction and then wait a few hours before taking any more. Maca powder is high in potassium, iodine and calcium, and contains many essential trace elements and amino acids.

Serves 1.


1 cup chopped kale leaves
1 cup chopped Romaine lettuce
1 cup chopped Swiss chard leaves
1 cup distilled water
½ cup sliced ripe bananas
½ kiwi fruit
Juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoon bee pollen
½ teaspoon maca powder


Thoroughly wash the applicable fruits and vegetables. Blend the kale, lettuce, chard and water until smooth. Add everything else and blend until smooth.
